Jaime Roser-Chinchilla is a Policy Analyst at UNESCO IESALC since 2020. As a specialist on higher education (HE) policies, his publications in this area address issues such as universal access and the right to HE, gender equality in HE institutions and academic careers, HE financing and financial support to students, the impact of artificial intelligence in HE, the inclusion of HE within national development planning, HE governance and regulation, and the futures of HE. His main areas of research currently include microcredentials in HE and the contribution of HE institutions to the Sustainable Development Goals.
